Donum Dei
Gospel-centred public witness affirming every child as a gift from God.

Donum Dei means “Gift of God”. This ministry bears public and biblical witness that every child is created by God, known by God and precious before God.
Donum Dei addresses abortion through public preaching, biblical witness and gospel proclamation.
A sober biblical witness
Writing about indwelling sin, John Owen observed that natural affection ordinarily moves creatures to protect and nourish their young, yet human sin can suppress even that affection. He connected this with Paul’s description of fallen humanity as “without natural affection” in Romans 1:31, and with the historic destruction of children to avoid responsibility or pursue selfish desire.
Owen also related this evil to the Old Testament condemnation of child sacrifice. Modern language and methods may differ, but human life made in God’s image can still be sacrificed to desire, fear, convenience or false worship.
Conviction, compassion and hope
The same sinful nature exists in every human heart. Donum Dei therefore speaks from conviction and compassion, not self-righteousness, calling people to repentance and pointing to the mercy of Christ.
Its aim is to uphold the truth that abortion is sin, every child is a gift from God, and forgiveness, cleansing and new life are found in Jesus Christ.
